Product Description

Available in free flow powder form, sodium borohydride is used as a reducing agent for different organic compounds like carboxylic acid, ketones, aldehydes and nitriles. It is required for the synthesis of C2H5OH, amines and various other organic compounds. By reducing metal ions of iron and copper, sodium borohydride plays crucial role in the production of metal nano particles. Being corrosive, this chemical causes eye and skin irritation if not handled properly. It needs to be stored in an air tight container and it needs to be kept away from strong oxidizing factor.
